The Lincoln Navigator Earned a "Best Luxury SUV" Award

Recently, it was reported that the Lincoln Navigator had received the Edmunds Editors' Choice Award in the Large Luxury SUV category. This honor, the first such award from the editors at Edmunds, recognizes the best-in-class vehicles in each automotive segment, based upon specific criteria designed to separate the elite from the rest.

These tests included driving and performance, comfort, interior quality, and technology, with editors looking that the categories that matter most to American car shoppers. This result shows that there's a good reason that the Lincoln Navigator routinely draws new customers from other luxury brands, with sales figures showing that over 55 percent of new sales coming from new customers who are choosing Lincoln over Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Land Rover, and other premium automakers.

In a press release, Alistair Weaver, editor-in-chief at Edmunds, stated, "Our editorial team tests more than 300 vehicles a year ― that's more than a collective 17,000 hours behind the wheel. We're going beyond what's hot and new to showcase the best of the best from all the cars on sale today. An Edmunds Editors' Choice winner represents the gold standard of automotive excellence."
